The core accounting packages are:

• USAS - Uniform School Accounting System - Maintains vendor records, account information, purchase orders, invoices, receipts, refunds, etc.  Also, there are many other reports that can be run to assist the district with accurate budgetary record keeping.
• USPS - Uniform School Payroll System - Maintains employee deduction/tax record information, benefit elligibility and balances, attendance history, payroll processing programs, direct deposit informaiton, payroll account charging, etc.  There are various payroll reports to assist the district with accurate payroll processing.
• EIS - Equipment Inventory System - The equipment inventory subsystem is one part of the school asset accounting system which is used for maintaining an inventory of fixed assets and producing reports.
• EMIS - Educational Management Information System - With the passage of Senate Bill 140, the legislature mandated that Ohio school district information to be organized into one consistent and coherent system. The Education Management Information System requires detailed information on students, staff, programs, services, and costs.

Internet Tools Provided: 

• USASWEB - Web based software for budgetary processing.  This is the eventual USAS Program replacement.

• USPSWEB - Web based software for payroll processing.  This is the eventual USPS Program replacement.

• Monthly/Fiscal CD/Payroll CD - Password protected web page used to store a standard set of monthly/fiscal reports.  Also, it is a convenient way to store reports indefinitely.  This is a useful resource for regular auditor requests.

• Fiscweb - Allows a user or group of users to access customized USAS reports via the FISCWEB website.  Website and reports are set up by SCOCA based on district needs.  Reports are updated nightly. 

• USASDW - Provides web-browser based inquiry on USAS software information.  Users can view detailed transaction data.  You will have the ability to extract data into a CSV, text tab-delimited or Excel spreadsheet.  This database is entirely separate from the schools "live" data.

• ONBASE - Electronic document storage and retrieval application (Not a free application)
• PUBLIC SCHOOL WORKS - Safety and compliance management system uses employee data for staff access, assignment and tracking functions for training purposes.
