If you are having issues with sound (hearing the other site), or with connecting with the older VTEL Equipment with your new Polycom HDX System, there is a setting that you will probably want to change. This applies to schools that received their equipment as part of the STEM grant last spring…
- Using the remote, click the “Home” button.
- Arrow down (arrow keys on remote) to “System”
- Choose “Admin Settings”
- Choose “Network”
- Choose “Call Preferences”
- Uncheck “H.239″ The only one you should have checked is “IP H.323″
Don’t know the “why” about this, but it works.
