StudentInformation Maintenance - 12/19/14 - 4PM
SCOCA has received an update for StudentInformation that addresses some issues that need corrected prior to the Student “S” EMIS window closing on the 22nd. As a result, StudentInformation will go offline today at 4PM while the update is being installed. Downtime should be less than 30 minutes. Other Progress Book Suite applications should be unaffected by this.
Alpha server software upgrade - Thursday (12/18) - 8 PM
The State Software Development Team has released the December software upgrade to ITCs in Ohio.  As a result, the Alpha server will be offline for the upgrade process this Thursday (12/18) beginning at 8 PM.  The expected downtime is 1 hour.

This will affect the availability of all “blue screen” applications, along with any fiscal web apps that rely on the server, such as USPSWeb, USASWeb, etc.

SafeAssign in Blackboard since the upgrade
Please note that since the Bb update, SafeAssign is now an integral part of all assignments rather than a seperate kind of assignment.  When you create an assignment, in option #4 "Grading," you click on Submission Details and it will give you a check box to have it submitted to SafeAssign for plagiarism checking...
